Richard is an experienced company director and corporate finance professional with over 25 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate advice and principal investment. Richard is an Executive Director of Alceon Group, where he leads its corporate advisory practice. Prior roles include Managing Director of The Silverfern Group, a global private investment firm, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Shearwater Capital, a credit-focussed investment firm and Executive Director with Macquarie Group, where he held a number of roles in corporate finance and principal investment over a 15 year career.
Richard is a Non-executive Director of Keystone Group, one of Australia’s largest hospitality groups, where he is also a member of the Audit Committee.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Fellow of Finsia.
Sue Morphet is an Australian businesswoman with a 30 year career in consumer goods. During her 16 years with the iconic Australian apparel company Pacific Brands, she is best know for her work to revolutionise the Bonds brand.
From 2008 to 2012, as CEO, she was responsible for implementing the strategy that lead the company through the global financial crisis and has since helped the company return to profit and ongoing viability.
From 2013 to 2015, Sue was Manufacturing Australia’s Chair. Under her leadership Manufacturing Australia continued its work with the Australian Federal and State Governments as well as other industries and influencers to ensure fair and appropriate industry policies. Sue holds directorships with other Australian and New Zealand consumer goods companys.
From 2006 to 2013, she was a Director of the Melbourne Fashion Festival. Prior to Pacific Brands Ms. Morphet held senior positions with a number of other well-known manufacturing companies including Sheridan and Herbert Adams.
David is an experienced corporate finance professional with over 15 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate advice and principal investment.
David is a Director of Alceon Group, where he focuses on corporate advisory and principal investment transactions.Prior to Alceon, he held roles within the corporate finance group of Babcock & Brown and the investment banking divisions of Goldman Sachs and Macquarie Group.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Monash University.
Scott has more than 20 years’ experience in Australian and international retailing in both women’s wear and menswear. His previous roles include group CEO of Bras N Things, the largest intimate apparel retailer within Australia and New Zealand with a store network of approximately 200 stores. Prior to that, Mr Evans was General Manager of the women’s wear retailers, Millers and Crossroads, both being divisions of the ASX-listed company Specialty Fashion Group Limited. At the time of Mr Evan’s employment, Millers and Crossroads had a combined store network well in excess of 500 stores in Australia and New Zealand, with Millers being the largest Australian Womens wear specialty chain.
Scotts’ international retailing experience includes being joint managing director of the menswear retailer, Greenwoods Menswear, and various roles at Poundstretcher and Marks & Spencer.
